Foxxe Energy Services Implements KMI’s EHS Software Suite for Incident Management, Corrective Actions and Auditing
Foxxe Energy Services (www.foxxe-energy.com), a Houston-based international drilling company, has implemented Knowledge Management Innovations, Ltd. (“KMI”)’s EHS Software Suite for corporate risk management. KMI’s Incident Management, Corrective Actions and Audit & Inspection modules have been rolled out across all Foxxe Energy’s service centers, management offices and mobile drilling rigs across the United States and Mexico.
According to Clay Reavis, Corporate VP Quality, Health, Safety & Environment for Foxxe, “As a fast growing company in such a high-pressure industry, we knew we needed an effective incident management tool to control risk and reduce costs. We selected KMI based on several critical factors including their experience in the oil & gas industry, their obvious ease of use benefit over everything else we looked at and recommendations we received from some other companies in the industry. Since going live, the feedback we have been getting from our field personnel is extremely positive.”
KMI delivered a turn-key solution for Foxxe based on KMI’s Software as a Service (SaaS) hosted solution model. The SaaS model provided several significant benefits to Foxxe including global availability, low up-front and ongoing support costs, and the ability to go live with a fully-configured system within eight weeks of the initial project planning meeting. Some of the high-priority business functions that Foxxe is managing within the KMI EHS Software Suite include injury, spill, security and equipment failure reporting, investigation and root cause analysis, near miss reporting, corrective action management, safety inspections, compliance audits and behavioral safety observations.
