Canada’s Largest Independent Tire Dealer Selects the KMI EHS Software Suite

Vernon, BC and Oakville, ON, October 15, 2012: KMI announced today Kal Tire, one of the largest retail tire dealers in Canada, selected the KMI Software Suite as the platform to manage key aspects of its health and safety program throughout its global operations. Kal Tire has an extensive base of 240 retail outlets across Canada as well as commercial, aviation, and mining divisions operating in 18 countries on 5 continents.

Kal Tire sought a multi-lingual, flexible system to automate and streamline incident management and the audit and inspection process. A solid, closed-looped corrective action cycle to ensure root causes and findings were appropriately addressed in a timely fashion was also high priority.
