Crescent Point Energy Corp chooses KMI’s EHS Software Suite Including Incident Management, Audit & Inspection, Compliance Management, Corrective Action, and Reporting & Dashboard modules.
Crescent Point Energy selected KMI’s EHS Software as a Service (SaaS) solution after careful evaluation of each of the leading software providers. The decision to implement KMI was made based on several driving factors including ease-of-use, comprehensive and innovative system features, scalability to support Cresent Point’s aggressive growth strategy and the availability of default system configurations based on industry best practices in safety and compliance management.
Crescent Point is implementating the core KMI EHS Software Suite including the industry leading Incident Management, Audit & Inspection, Compliance Management, Corrective Action and Reporting & Dashboard modules as part of a corporate wide EHS Information Management System (EMIS).
According to Cory Larson, Corporate HSE Supervisor for Crescent Point, “We started the selection process looking for a partner who could hit the ground running with real industry knowledge in safety and compliance best practices and a system with a strong record of success. We take our safety and community stewardship reasponsibilities very seriously as a company and we wanted a solution that would help support a best-in-class program as we continue to grow. During the evaluation process, KMI stood out.”
Matt Airhart, the Director of Business Development for KMI adds, “We were excited when the team from Crescent Point Energy approached us. Our system is an exceptional out-of-the-box fit for the energy industry and our growth in this sector has been significant. The Software as a Service version of our system will support Crescent Point’s aggressive growth while helping them to control risk and increase efficiency and sustainability. They are not just adopting a new system, but a real competitive advantage.
Crescent Point Energy will have their system configured and deployed over the next eight weeks with the expectation of going live in January 2010.
