| Today NAEM officially
launched a fully redesigned website in conjunction with
upgraded technology for managing member services. NAEM
selected a well-regarded association software company,
Member Clicks, to provide both the internal information
management and on-line member management software tool
to support the website.
NAEM completed
the information migration from its Microsoft Access-based
legacy membership information systems in July
and has since been working exclusively with the new MemberClicks
software. The new website has been designed to reflect
NAEM’s continued growth and development as the Premier
Association for EHS Managers, with an updated look and
an emphasis on easy navigation and usability.
According to Carol Singer Neuvelt, the Executive Director
of NAEM, “The new website will enhance value for
Association members, affiliates, sponsors and the general
public. New tools for EHS professionals including discussion
forums, job boards and reference material will be available
online. In addition, marketing & outreach information,
easy membership management and event registration are
all benefits that people will appreciate when using the
new website. We are excited to be launching a solution
that so effectively addresses the complex needs of our
staff, members and corporate sponsors”.
The success of this project has resulted from the dedicated
efforts of a complex project team with broad expertise.
The team included NAEM staff, Knowledge Management Innovations,
Ltd. (KMI) for project management, system integration
and implementation services and William T. Ayton Web
Design for website graphic design.
