July 15, 2003 - Knowledge Management Innovations (KMI) acquires MinePro Tools
Knowledge Management Innovations, Ltd. (KMI), the cost-effective environmental, health and safety (EH&S) management system provider to the chemical manufacturing, aerospace and consumer products industries announces the acquisition of MinePro Tools, LLC. KMI will retain the developers and staff from MinePro Tools, and will now support the customer base and manage future sales of MinePro Tools key product, the Training Planner. The Training Planner helps the mining and aggregates industry meet and exceed the Mine Safety & Health Administration’s (MSHA's) Part 46 regulation. It was designed as a versatile tool that adds immeasurable value to operations, by reducing paperwork and saving time.

The employees and systems of MinePro Tools will be effectively integrated into KMI. The Training Planner will continue to reside at www.mineprotools.com and will be hosted, managed and serviced by the same individuals and infrastructure. In addition, MinePro Tools customers will benefit from the backing of a larger company and a comprehensive suite of EH&S software solutions including compliance management, incident tracking and implementation consulting services.
